Core Loop: Collect, Expand, Defend

You begin on a small wooden platform adrift in the ocean. Floating logs drift nearby, and clicking on them throws a net to pull them toward your raft. Holding the mouse button automates retrieval, letting you gather multiple logs without repeated clicks. These logs become building materials. Clicking a side of the raft adds a new section, gradually enlarging and stabilizing the structure. The game's tension comes from deciding when to expand and when to reinforce.

Turret Placement and Crab Threats

Crabs approach the raft and attempt to damage it. Defensive turrets automatically fire nets at these crabs, creating a perimeter that protects your construction. You can also switch to a net or spear tool and click on approaching crabs to push them back manually. A circular indicator shows the effective range of your current tool, helping you time attacks. Turret placement matters: covering vulnerable sides early reduces the need for constant manual intervention.

Upgrades and In-Session Decisions

Occasionally, upgrade items fall from the sky. You choose one of three options, such as a speed boost for the raft or an additional turret. These choices shape each session. A speed boost helps you gather logs faster, while extra turrets strengthen defense. Because materials are limited, every upgrade and every new raft section involves a trade-off between growth and protection.
